SUMMARY:CE-CERT: Managing Secondary Traumatic Stress Through a Skills Based
  Model
DESCRIPTION:Schusterman Center - OU Tulsa Campus\n4502 E. 41st St.\nTulsa\,
  OK 74135\n\n\nThis full-day training will provide a thorough overview on 
 the Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Trauma (CE-
 CERT) model. CE-CERT is a skills-based model for supporting emotional well
 -being in the helping professions. The five core components of CE-CERT: Ex
 periential Engagement\, Reducing Rumination\, Conscious Narrative\, Reduci
 ng Emotional Labor\, and Parasympathetic Recovery\, and the acquirable ski
 lls within each will be taught through both didactic and experiential acti
 vities.\n\nThis training is open to both clinical and non-clinical staff.\
 n\nLearning Objectives:\n1) Participants will learn and discuss assumption
 s and myths associated with work-related secondary traumatic stress.\n2) P
 articipants will learn the five core components of CE-CERT and how to appl
 y their associated micro-interventions to support professional and persona
 l well-being.\n\nCost:\nThe cost of training is $100. Training is provided
  at no cost to providers working at agencies contracted with the OK Depart
 ment of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) on select child t

 visor Training:\nThose in a supervisory role are encouraged to attend the 
 CE-CERT Supervisor Training and attend the 10 consultation calls following
  the full-day training for full implementation of the model and applicatio
 n of the CE-CERT skills. The cost of the Supervisor Training and Consultat
 ion is $300. Training is provided at no cost to providers working at agenc
 ies contracted with the OK Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Ser
 vices (ODMHSAS) on select child trauma services contracts. Click here for

 ing Education\nCEUS are approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral
