SUMMARY:CE-CERT: Managing Secondary Traumatic Stress Through a Skills Based
  Model
DESCRIPTION:Pittsburg County health Department\n1400 East College Ave.\nMcA
 lester\, OK 74501\n\n\nThis full-day training will provide a thorough over
 view on the Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Tra
 uma (CE-CERT) model. CE-CERT is a skills-based model for supporting emotio
 nal well-being in the helping professions. The five core components of CE-
 CERT: Experiential Engagement\, Reducing Rumination\, Conscious Narrative\
 , Reducing Emotional Labor\, and Parasympathetic Recovery\, and the acquir
 able skills within each will be taught through both didactic and experient
 ial activities.\n\nThis training is open to both clinical and non-clinical
  staff.\n\nLearning Objectives:\n1) Participants will learn and discuss as
 sumptions and myths associated with work-related secondary traumatic stres
 s.\n2) Participants will learn the five core components of CE-CERT and how
  to apply their associated micro-interventions to support professional and
  personal well-being.\n\nCost:\nThe cost of training is $100. Training is 
 provided at no cost to providers working at agencies contracted with the O
 K Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) on select

 n\nSupervisor Training:\nThose in a supervisory role are encouraged to att
 end the CE-CERT Supervisor Training and attend the 10 consultation calls f
 ollowing the full-day training for full implementation of the model and ap
 plication of the CE-CERT skills. The cost of the Supervisor Training and C
 onsultation is $300. Training is provided at no cost to providers working 
 at agencies contracted with the OK Department of Mental Health Substance A

 30\, 2025.\n- 3 CEUs will be offered for the Supervisor's Training on Janu
