This full-day training will provide a thorough overview on the Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Trauma (CE-CERT) model. CE-CERT is a skills-based model for supporting emotional well-being in the helping professions. The five core components of CE-CERT: Experiential Engagement, Reducing Rumination, Conscious Narrative, Reducing Emotional Labor, and Parasympathetic Recovery, and the acquirable skills within each will be taught through both didactic and experiential activities.
This training is open to both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Learning Objectives:
1) Participants will learn and discuss assumptions and myths associated with work-related secondary traumatic stress.
2) Participants will learn the five core components of CE-CERT and how to apply their associated micro-interventions to support professional and personal well-being.
Cost:
The cost of training is $100. Training is provided at no cost to providers working at agencies contracted with the OK Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) on select child trauma services contracts. Click here for qualifying agencies.
Supervisor Training:
Those in a supervisory role are encouraged to attend the CE-CERT Supervisor Training and attend the 10 consultation calls following the full-day training for full implementation of the model and application of the CE-CERT skills. The cost of the Supervisor Training and Consultation is $300. Training is provided at no cost to providers working at agencies contracted with the OK Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) on select child trauma services contracts. Continuing Education
CEUS are approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health and the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers.
– 6 CEUs will be offered for the full-day CE-CERT Training on January 30, 2025.
– 3 CEUs will be offered for the Supervisor’s Training on January 31, 2025.
